The Bowwa® Bucket System in Rusty Red (Round)

Overall, I'm finding the strap useful, as slinging it over my shoulder leaves my hands free to carry other things. The website didn't say how big the bucket was, so I was unsure what size it would be. I tried using the bowwa bucket I bought, but it proved to be too small for all my surf/beach gear. So instead I am using the strap with a 60l Bunnings bucket. To do this, I needed to adjust the strap length under the bucket. This wasn't obvious, because the strap was tucked away in one of the side pockets. I bought my bowwa bucket because the handles on Bunnings buckets break after a while and throwing them out feels like a horrible waste of plastic. The bowwa bucket handles look sturdy, so it is likely a stronger bucket if you are happy with the smaller size. Also be aware that the strap system attachment to the bucket handles takes up much of the space in the handles, making them a little hard to use for times when you don't want to use the shoulder straps. But despite these shortcomings I still think it is a worthwhile product, and I gather they are developing a newer version which will presumably be even better.

There’s not much to it, really - it’s a bloody big bucket. Considering the cheap Bunnings ones usually lasted about a month before cracking or splitting, I’m very happy that this one will last.
